No, the mid section is not the right color.Insect World's one and only overloard!

I wouldn't be so sure. P. imparis is often quite orangey or coppery red on the top of the thorax.

So this queen was winged and in a colony, or did you find her alone walking around? Does she still have her wings on? If she was walking around on her own then she probably landed from somewhere else...
